Hey, just a little advice if I may be so bold, take a look at the 5 steps of culinary tourism, this can be found on culinarytourism.org this is a really useful model that is free to use and helps a destination identify where there are in the promotion of what is unique and memorable in their destination.
cheers and good luck! megs dad

The links seem to be stuck in an endless spiral - every time you click it takes you to another page that has a link that returns to the original page.

Would love to book but can't and a bit nervous I might end up in Groundhog Day scenario ................

As a company director I am not too concerned about the 50% tax rate for over £150k pa. There are many owner / directors, like myself, who work extremely hard to grow a sustainable business without needing to draw excessively.

In our own case, we prefer to reinvest in the company, maintain a strong balance sheet, keep borrowings to a minimum (or zero in our case) with the objective of growing value, protecting the investment of our clients and ensuring the jobs of our committed employees.

This approach is what is needed now, by all business owners, to pull us out of the recession.

The current economic problems have been generated by a culture of greed and excess. Whilst I recognise that not all high earners are bankers (and indeed not all bankers are culpable) the Chancellor is right to expect the burden to fall on those with higher incomes.

I am also pleased to see that the Chancellor has not (yet) further penalised owner / directors whose pension plan is in the value of their businesses as was the case with his capital gains tax revisions in last year's budget.

When the economy suffers a downturn more people are looking at these form of plans, particularly when the services (waiting times as an example) from the NHS are improving. WPA has recognised this with the new Health Top-Up Plan. It has been conceived as an "NHS plus" plan that supplements what the NHS can deliver and still allows patients to "vote NHS" first. It is the first NHS top-up policy and is a recognition of the structural and strategic challenges of the NHS and how health insurers can complement what it does.
